JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Product Specialist I
Location: India
SCOPE
This role would be supporting TTI(Mouser’s Parent Company).The Product Specialist I assists the Global Corporate Product department with daily system maintenance and processing to ensure accurate data is reflected in the purchasing system. The Product Specilaist I is also accountable for providing excellent customer service and communication in support of these activities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•Assist with updating purchase order delivery, acknowledgements and shipping notifications.
•Assist Sales with loading supplier special costs into the TTI systemand revalidating supplier’s quote that have expired.
•Communicating supplier quote special pricing to the Product team
•Communicate and manage the non-inventory part number setups
•Update part number sequencing to accurately display like or better than part numbers
•Manage and communicate Product Change Notifications to TTI’s customers
•Expands personal product knowledge to effectively ensure personal growth opportunity.
•Requires attention to detail, proof reading for accuracy, and maintaining quality expectations
•Expands product knowledge by utilizing all resources including product literature,
•Suppliers’ websites, TTI University, etc.
•Complete additional projects as assigned.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
•Strong customer service experience .
•Proven literacy in using application software such as Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
•Strong communication, analytical skills and organizational skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask and recognize the importance of deadlines.
•Proven skill working in a team environment with various personality types to get the work done. Ability to relate well, build consensus and show respect and consideration for others.
•Strong teamwork orientation.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Exhibits a strong customer service orientation with a strong sense of urgency to responding to internal and external customer needs.
•Must be able to work under broadly defined policies and achieve stated goals.
•Demonstrates the ability and desire to provide excellent customer service
•Be an extremely inquisitive and a quick learner.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
•Requires any Bachelor’s degree.
•Min of 0 – 4 years of relevant experience skills.
•Completed professional training in a relevant business field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
