Roles and Responsibilities

• In this role you will collaborate with other senior technical team members and other developers to, design, develop and deliver technology solutions for web application. You will interact with various technology, product, and business teams across MUFG.
• Perform application design and development activities in the latest technologies: Java, REST, microservices, Angular or React, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins
• Manage, lead and track project tasks delivery with development team
• Integrate vendor hosted solutions with banks applications via API, SAML and File transmissions
• Deliver project tasks that adhere to continuous delivery practices with automated unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing pipelines

Job Requirements:

Skillset: Red Hat Open Shift, Kubernetes, Tomcat, Docker,Java/J2EE,Spring, Spring Boot,REST/SOAP Services, JSON,Micro Services,React/ Angular,MS SQL Server, Oracle, Jenkins,, JPA, Hibernate, Integrating Vendor Solutions, Splunk monitoring tool, Secure Coding practices

• Overall 8+ years in IT Development with Java programming, including popular open-source libraries and frameworks like Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, SQL
• Must have 2 years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes (Preferably OpenShift) Platform and Dockers technology
• Must have 2+ years of experience in developingMicroservices
• Experience in application architecture design
• Strong API , batch, messaging services integration experience.
• Experience in vendor hosted application integrations (API, SAML, File Transmissions)
• Experience in batch processing, file deliveries via SFTP or IBM Sterling File Transfer
• Experience programming with HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, and mainstream front-end frameworks (Angular 9+, React)
• Proficiency in the general areas: Jenkins, BitBucket, and Github, ArgoCD, and Tekton pipeline
• Applied knowledge of API Development using REST/SOAP
• Experience with relational database technologies: Oracle and MS SQL Server
• Experience with streaming platforms such as IBM MQ, JMS
• Experience with the CI/CD pipeline process
• Preferred: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer
• Experience with Kafka, AWS is a plus
• Experience with banks statement formats: BAI, CAMT, MT940, SWIFT is a plus
• Familiar with Agile, Waterfall development methodology
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
