Job Description

Job Role: The role calls for multiple abilities such as leading complex engineering project with minimal supervision and organizing project activities. Designs products, processes, tooling and/or equipment that meet customer needs, technical design goals and Regulatory/Quality requirements .: ? Must Have Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 15 to 20 years of design experience, with at least 08 -10 years of hands on experience in Conceptual Design and Development of SPM’s, Steel Coil Packaging Machines, Strapping and Wrapping machines..? Detail Design to meet the project & product specific standards Selection of Standard Electrical and Mechanical Element & it’s calculations (Motors, Drives, Sensors, PLC Elements) Interact with Electrical and Mechanical suppliers for standard Parts selection Industry experience in the Assembly line Technology.? SPM Concept building, meeting with end users on design reviews , Mfg. & assembly drawing preparation, BOM, Selection of Drives (Electrical, Pneumatics’ and Hydraulics.), RFQ.? Handling project on all types of steel coil packaging machines , Strapping and Wrapping Machines (Cir[1]cum,Eye and Integrated), and includes additional accessories like Tag Applicator, Seal pad Applicator, Edge protectors, Etc? Experience in Fixture design, Special purpose machines (SPM) Design, Industrial Automation, Tool & Die design, documentations & calculations.? Experience in Manufacturing , Fabrication, Assembly process, Heat treatment process & coating & painting process? Create 2D / 3D CAD models in SolidWorks / AutoCAD for product visualizations, development and prototyping.? Manage time and deliverables of multiple design projects through various phases of design? Interpret mechanical design drawings for electrical requirements? Technical evaluation of supplier products for assembly components? Complete BOM preparation with supplier quotations , SAP & PLM Process for design release.? Experience in debugging issues from field products to determine root cause? Undertaking the Design and Layouts as per the client requirements.Desired Key skills required😕 Good Knowledge in Hand calculations, Material specifications and Material selection / qualification process? Manage time and deliverables of multiple design projects through various phases of design? Good knowledge and apply future trends in design techniques, technology and materials? Should be proficient in Autocad 3D and any 3D software Hands on experience in part & assembly drawings and BOM.? Ability to cooperatively lead in a team environment.? Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.? Experience in facilitation of project level and cross-project activities.? Experience working cross functionally with manufacturing, supply chain and quality functions.? Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and methodologies? Experience in product design and development in an R&D environment? Good hands on experience in Modeling , Drafting and GD&T? Good understanding of product development and general guideline regulations such as ISO 13485, ISO 14971, Design controls , robust design ( DRM ) and ability to apply the tools is expected.Note: Candidates from Packaging lines and Packaging industry will be preferredExpected Start Date: 1/1/2022Job Type: Full-timeSalary: Up to INR1,200,000.00 per yearBenefits:
