Purpose
•Serve as the primary liaison between the IT and business end-users
•Articulate product vision with a strong focus on value delivery
•Elaboration and Decomposition of themes to Epics, solution options, do ability and sequencing
•Work with the business to analyze business requirements and produce documented and approved specifications for any new or change to technology applicationsand/or business processes
•Maximize the Value being delivered by ensuring all features are aligned to business value.
•Works with the Product Owner to refine the backlog of the team through prioritization, estimation and decision making.
•Outline the requirements to develop the solutions
•Supports Developers, Analysts and Quality Engineers in understanding the requirements, so they can deliver on their commitments

•Ability to with key stakeholders and teams on product vision, developing it into a shaped backlog of key features, user stories and goals for individual sprints
•Demonstrated experience as a trusted advisor who influences outcomes with business stakeholders and/or mitigates issues to achieve outcomes
•Analysis and delivery experience within complex environments
•Creativity and simplifying complex processes and issues, problem solving and analysis
•Develops and maintains a broad perspective; understands and considers issues in the context of overall market, customer, and business strategies

Experience
•12-16 years of previous experience as a Business Analyst with Core Banking Domain Experience

Key Accountabilities
•Responsible for capturing and grooming requirements into epics, features, user stories and dependencies in collaboration with the squads that aligns with business requirements.
•Perform analysis (scenario, policy, customer, data, gap, change, etc) in order to articulate business need and solution requirements.
•Produce As Is and To Be Process Models
•Develop process models, data models, business rules, target operating models, workflows, reporting and other required outputs
•Ensure the Delivery and Development teams understand the value of each user story that is being delivered at the right time
•Works with the Product Owner & the Financial Product team to understand, elicit, analyse, document and communicate business requirements and articulate product vision with a strong focus on value delivery
•Assists the Product Owner to define and own the value definition of Stories, including facilitating and influencing the prioritisation of the backlog
•Working experience in translating end user / customer insights into Features, Epics and Stories complete with Acceptance Criteria, which can easily be understood by the development Team and Traceable
•Analyse the impact of proposed solutions holistically in order to produce Business Impact Assessments
•Implementation of prioritised change outcomes aligned to domains and achievement of associated KPI’s.
•Customer and Stakeholder are at the centre of all analysis.
•Maintain an understanding of Best practices within own specialist area, and IT in general by continually seeking out relevant industry and technical knowledge.
•Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to process and procedures pertinent to role; escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified.
•Improve on professional skills by completing necessary development activities.
•Ensure all personal training records are maintained and kept up to date.
•Take reasonable care for own health & safety, as well as that of others.
•Conform with all internal operating procedures relevant to the position performance management, and identification of training and development needs.
Qualification Requirements
•Tertiary qualified with a Degree in IT and preference to post graduate qualifications (Tech BA Experience Mandatory)
Experience in Trade Life Cycle/Core Banking will be an added advantage
