Job Description:
National Council of Applied Economic Research and the University of Maryland are about to begin data collection for the third wave of the India Human Development Survey (IHDS). We are looking for summer interns to help with the translation of survey questionnaires and project related project activities. This will be a unique opportunity to learn about the way in which key economic and demographic concepts are defined and measured. We are looking for interns with native oral and written fluency in Bengali, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Gujarati and Marathi. This is an ideal opportunity for students completing first year of MA and looking for some practical experience.
