Job Description

NI, a technology pioneer and industry leader in virtual instrumentation, with the expanding in India, there are an opening for Calibration Technicians . You are responsible to follow the calibration procedure, execute the calibrations steps, and manage the calibration records. Calibration Technicians are expected to support calibration services for NI products and sustain the service objectives of the laboratory. This position offers the opportunity to work with groups throughout NI to deliver world class service to our customers. Responsibilities

• Perform duties as a Field Calibration Technician
• Perform calibrations on customer equipment
• Execute and implement processes used in the Calibration Services Laboratory
• Collaborate with Lab Manager to support and implement calibration requirements
• Ensure laboratory adherence to Quality Management System and company policies
• Prepare calibration data for reporting
• Perform daily calibrations while following the calibration procedure
• Maintain the laboratory facilities, infrastructure, and equipment
• Contribute and improve daily on-time delivery (OTD) performance
• Support partial Material Handler job

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical or Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification & working experience
• Calibration laboratory experience and on-site experience would be beneficial
• General understanding of metrology concepts, knowledge of ISO 17025 or other metrology standards would be beneficial
• Ability to trouble shoot / debug calibration failures
• Effective communication skills
