Brief Description:

This role will play a critical role in supporting the function head and in building and maintaining good relations with the regulators and government bodies and towards the work on policy advocacy and public relations. This role involves working with various functions for development and execution of government relations strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Principal responsibilities for this role include:

• Preparing briefs for the higher management for their interactions with the regulators and the government officials. Work closely with Legal, Compliance and other teams.
• Developing company position on various policy issues through proactive interactions with internal and external stakeholders including industry bodies, research orgs, think tanks and academia partnerships.
• Track all relevant regulatory developments and inform the teams on the potential impact on the company plans.

Experience and Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 + years of experience with strong focus on the BFSI industry.
• Proven record of integrity and success in public policy.
