Job Title: Production Support DeveloperOrganization Name: NEC Corporation of India Ltd.Reporting Relationship: He will be reporting to a Technical LeadRole Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented software Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for solely taking the requirement from the client and developing the application based on the required skills. our production environment, ensuring the smooth operation and performance of our applications and systems. You will work collaboratively with various teams, including software developers, operations, and business stakeholders, to diagnose and fix problems quickly and efficiently.Responsibilities:

• Monitor production systems for potential issues and proactively identify and resolve problems before they impact users.
• Analyse incidents, diagnose root causes, and develop solutions to restore functionality and prevent future occurrences.
• Perform code fixes, develop scripts, and automate tasks to improve efficiency and resolution times.
• Collaborate with software developers to identify bugs and suggest improvements to code quality and stability.
• Document issues, resolutions, and knowledge gained for future reference and training purposes.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support outside of regular business hours.
• Stay up to date on the latest technologies and trends relevant to production support.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and tools for production support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-4 years of experience as a software developer.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Node/React & Azure/AWS & Python
• Experience with various operating systems, including Linux and Windows.
• Experience on working on production applications using Docker, CI/CD.
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL). – Must have exposure on No SQL and relational database and other database experience can also be considered
• Knowledge of Golang is a plus. – Good to have
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Base Location: Bangalore, but flexible to travelSpecialization DescriptionResponsible for improving or developing new products, components, equipment, systems, technologies, or processes including:

• Ensuring that research and design methodologies meet established scientific and engineering standards
• Assisting with formulating business plans and budgets for product development
• Analyzing quality/safety test results to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
• Keeping abreast of new developments in the industry and translating those developments into new and viable options for the organization and customers
• Organizing technical presentations to customers and/or industry groups
• Monitoring product development outcomes to ensure technical, functional, cost, and timing targets are met In some organizations, may be responsible for managing product regulatory approval process
