Roles and Responsibilities

Install and configure the Cloud Management Application (for example, to manage AWS, Azure, VMware, OpenStack)
Run Discovery on the cloud resources.
Define catalog items for both VMs and more complex offerings.
Experience with various virtualization technologies and multi-tenant, private and hybrid cloud environments
Experience with server OS and storage technologies required; knowledge of SAN Storage.
Knowledge in Hyper Converged infrastructure.
Ability to lead and contribute to the development, maintenance, and usage of deployment and task automation (OS, database services, virtual networks, or other platform services)
Ability to work directly with architects and developers to debug problems and solutions.
Ability to implement cloud infrastructure designs provided by architects.
Monitor and analyze resource usage to recommend/develop enhancements to system capabilities and performance.
Compare, evaluate, and implement new technologies, and integrate systems into the computing environment.
Support infrastructure deployment models, including Private, Public, and Hybrid.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education and certifications:
Fulltime BE/BTECH/MCA from a reputed institute
Certification: MCSE (Good to have), VCP, ITIL-Intermediate
Cloud Certification ( Amazon, Azure, Google)

Domain Experience:
Minimum 4 years experience in managing operations of virtualized platform
Minimum of 4 years of Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, Google) deployment and management experience
Experience in Virtualization ( VCP ), Linux/Windows system administration.
Knowledge in Database such us MySQL, SQL Server and NoSQL Database , Mongo-DB, Cassandra etc
Experience managing from the Operating System up through Front End applications. Understanding of application, server, and network security is highly desired
Knowledge on Active Directory/ LDAP administration.
Minimum 4 years experience in performing platform migrations (V2V, P2V) including storage.
Experience in transitioning of virtualized platform from build to operations and providing early life support.
Experience in upgrading various components of virtualized platform at hardware and virtual layers.
Experience in on boarding new customers on virtualized platform

Technical skills:
Deep technical experience in migration from Windows OS/ Linux to Cloud based OS ( Cent OS , Ubuntu )
Deep Technical experience in Amazon or Azure Cloud. •
Deep technical experience in VMware vCenter, vCD, vDC,
Experience in Cloud migration tools such as Zerto, Carbonite, Hystax. • Technical knowledge in SAN Storage
Thorough hand-on experience on Linux and Windows
Deployment knowledge in VMware VXRail and Nutanix Hyper Converged Infrastructure
Hands on experience in Cloud DevOps Tools, SVN, GIT, Jenkins
Familiarity with one or more configuration management frameworks (Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Ansible)
Hands on experience in Containers and micro-services (Kubernetes, Docker)
Experience in automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, etc.
Hands on experience in setting up Azure or AWS Cloud Tenant, provisioning of resources and management.

Knowledge in Automation and orchestration tools

Soft skills:
Very good verbal and written communication skill using English language
Being able to work under pressure
Being able to be available 24×7 for production support.
