Job Description
Job Purpose
Candidate should have experience in Private Label Business Development / Contract Manufacturing. Should have good network amongst all Big corporate groups, Hyper market, Ecommerce Business. Candidate should be presentable and should possess good communication Skills. Experience of Private Label Business Development in categories required: Home Care or Personal Care.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build recommended product assortments that reflect the preferences of a specific consumer segment, considering price, quality and other factors.
2. Develop strategies to target and capitalize on new sales growth opportunities, identifying potential customers and initiating contact with them. Follow up as needed.
3. Determine potential sales growth opportunities with current customers, i.e., brand extensions and/or new products and ensure they are aware of the companies’ full capabilities.
4. Establish and maintain private label & contract manufacturing sales budget and sales goals by customer, product category, new customers etc.
5. Maintain proficient knowledge of product lines, pricing, production lead times, delivery time, shipping terms and various marketing promotional services.
6. Develops sales targets, and profit objectives.
7. Continually Network to provide new opportunities; expanding our presence with large corporate Clients.
8. Track trends in the industry and share with marketing and R&D team to help keep product development in tune with new products that could be of interest to current or new private label & contract manufacturing customers.
9. Work closely with Marketing and Research and Development Team to determine direction; communicate all activity with them including sales leads, development plans, issues etc.
10. Provide direction with regard to appropriate reports, market data, frequency of sales department meetings, and provide executive level recap monthly for the management team.
11. Establish long-term strategies and annual/seasonal financial plans and identify growth opportunities.
12. New product development, product recommendation and suggestion.
13. Co-ordination with production, R & D, Quality, Packaging, Store and Dispatch/Supply Chain departments, based on pricing, formula, volume, and utilizing the New Product Questionnaire.
14. Travel to existing customers/prospective customers as needed.
15. Travel to and participate in trade fairs/shows.

Skill Sets Required
1. Experience in handling Private Label/Corporate/ B2B Sales
2. Experience in Business Development
3. Self-motivator and self-starter
4. Innovative thinker, who can think of new areas of Private Label / B2B selling
5. Good Experience in Risk analysis, Problem solving skills and meeting the customer needs
6. Strong ability to generate new business, and meet sales goals on a consistent basis
7. Possess keen listening skills
8. Maintain high degree of honesty and integrity in all internal and external interactions
9. Ability to deliver both sales and profitability results / Result oriented
