Nextgen’s EHR system is used by thousands of Doctors and Nurses and clinical admins in several hundreds of clinics and hospitals. Nextgen’s mobile app mainly focuses on improving doctor’s productivity, meaning, we want the doctor to spend more time with the patients, not with the computers. The type of doctors we focus tend to write more notes about patient visit and it takes long time to do so. Also, it takes time to search for patient information on computer. So, the mobile app comes handy in this situation. When the doctor walks into the patient room she has all the information about the patient readily available in her hand. The doctor doesn’t have to sit and write any notes on the computer instead she can simply talk to the app. Behind the scene we take the audio and send to speech recognition engine to convert to text, proof read it, and then document it as an Electronic Health Record. This saves lot of time for the doctor and allows them to be more productive and see few more patients every day.Staff Engineer .Net· 8-11 years of experience with .Net based application developmentRequired Skills:Must have· Design skills, ability to understand the overall product and work on multiple applications in the product.· Experience with implementing ASP.NET MVC based web applications is a must.· Experience with WinForms and windows services is required.· Experience with WebSocket programming is a plus.· Expert in creating templates and frameworks using ASP.NET MVC, HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript.· Experience in responsive design, Angular JS is a plus.· Master in developing RESTful services using ASP.NET Web API.· Hands on experience in developing WCF services.· Deep understanding and solid programming skills in developing SQL queries, stored procedures, views and tables using SQL Server.· Monitoring and Analytics with Splunk, Sonarqube, SolarWinds· Hands on profiling tools (SQL Profiler, dotTrace, ANTS Profiler, VS.NET Profiler etc)· Strong understanding of object-oriented programming· Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests· Experience in the designing and implementing CI/CD pipeline processes; automated build and test systems (e.g. AWS CodeDeploy, etc.)· Experience in working with AWS Cloud – EC2, Container, Lambda, S3, API Gateway etc.,· IaC – Terraform and CloudFormation· Experience of working on Build and Release Process & DevOps related Activity with tools like Maven, bitbucket, Git, TFS, Perforce· Ability to train/mentor and coach the team membersKey Roles/Responsibilities: Software Development· Contributes to scoping and implementing changes in technical/business processes.· Helps develop and implement innovative solutions for complex, specialized technical issues.· Largely understands and quantifies project risks with impact.· Contributes to business plans for discipline with mid- to- long-term impact on results· Communicates with executives within the enterprise on matters that require explanation, interpretation, and / or advising; often communicates to parties outside of the organization.· Acknowledged within the organization as a subject matter expert· Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code· Troubleshoot production issues and solve complex business problems.· Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications· Design and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.· Creates innovative solutions to problems and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.· Experience with SDLC/PDLC and Agile based scrum team.· Instructs, assigns, directs and check the work of others on the development teamDesired Skills:• Exposure to US HealthCare domain.• Understanding of Mobile app development (iOS and/or Android).• Experience working in agile teams.Qualification:• B.E/B.Tech, MCA, ME/M.Tech in Computer Science
