Job Description

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday (9.30am – 7.00pm)We are an animation studio specialising in niche religious and moralistic based content for our target audience, and we are looking for an exceptional 3D Lighting + Rendering Artist in Unreal Engine to join our team and take us to the next level.Urgently are looking for a 3D Lighting + Rendering Artist in Unreal Engine to work in our production workflow, and under the direction of the Animation Lead, bring light to our creatures, objects and characters for film and television productions.You must have a very strong working knowledge of Unreal/Maya and will be someone who can demonstrate solid artistic skills, including a thorough understanding of colour theory, composition, light and form.To be successful, you should be detail-oriented, flexible, and a good team player. Ultimately, a top-notch 3D Lighting Artist is creative and artistic and able to bring our storyboards to life.3D Lighting Artist Responsibilities:
-Produce high-quality lighting and rendering for our scenes
-Be engaged at every stage of production including pre-visualization of complicated sequences, research and development.
-You’ll optimize and troubleshoot lighting and rendering problems in a fast-paced environment.
-Work closely with other artists to determine best approaches to solve 3D challenges and develop final looks
-Compositing of rendered layers, as well as effects layers from the special effects team
-Setup location and character lighting for individual shots
-Troubleshooting any problems that arise during work on a project promptly and accurately.
-Meeting with clients, Designers, and Directors to discuss and review projects and deadlines.You will have the creative freedom to learn and create amazing art for our studio, with the chance to represent the studio in producing award winning, unique content for Punjabi, Marathi, and Asian audiences around the world.The Successful Applicant:
-Certificate, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree in Animation
-A strong portfolio of previous work and completed projects.
-Require minimum 1-5 years’ experience creating convincing performance and motion for live action feature film and television series
-Strong understanding of colour theory and practical lighting concepts
-Demonstrate an understanding of a range of illustrative lighting styles
-Required strong sense of camera work and framing
-Strong working knowledge of industry-standard software, including Maya, Vray, Arnold, Redshift, Houdini, Mantra, Nuke, Unreal Engine
-Good communication and teamwork skills.
-Excellent time management skills.
