WHAT YOUâLL DO:
As a Team Leader – Accounts payable, you will support Accounts Payable (A/P) department by performing duties that include, but are not limited to, review of employee Travel and Entertainment expenses, Invoice processing, Payment processing, Vendor management, Purchasing card process, Quality check and Customer support. This position will report to the Manager – Accounts Payable
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary point of contact for any escalations.
- Should be ready to take the lead in absence of Management.
- Make sure all process documents are in place and updated timely.
- Preparation of process metric reports, as requested.
- Manage the entry of vouchers/invoices in Coupa/Epicor in accordance with internal PO policies.
- Reconcile supplier statements and working directly with suppliers to resolve any issues.
- Ensure supplier invoices paid on time.
- Provide training to Supplier representatives on the Coupa system, as needed.
- Process payment requests by obtaining proper approvals, Purchase order & Coding details.
- Review transactions by corporate credit card holders. Verify properly accordance to the policy and revert for any necessary changes.
- Understand RealPage T&E policy and make sure all employee expense reports are approved properly.
- Provide superior customer service.
- Work collaboratively with associates at all levels to detect issues and implement agreed upon solutions related to transactions and system discrepancies.
- Support in month end activities and other activities as per requirement.
- Should be open to accept any additional tasks when required.
- Process improvement mindset.
- Quality check of all the activities performed by the team and self.
- Capable of providing trainings to junior team members.
- Audit support (Internal/External), provide requested evidence.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Capable of handling more complex activities in the AP process.
- Extensive knowledge on at least one of the Accounts Payable processes and overall knowledge on P2P workflow.
- B Com Degree or equivalent is required, and MBA is preferred
- 6 to 10 years of experience in Accounts Payable and AP Customer service.
- People with Coupa experience is preferred and experience on Epicor, concur systems is a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in a multinational company is required and US based company is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Lookups, pivot tables, presentations).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills required to interact/communicate with international team members and vendors (Mostly US employees and vendors) understanding different US voice accents is a plus.
- Lean/ process improvement certification is a plus
- Should be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be comfortable in a constantly changing environment.
- Confidentiality is extremely important.
- Willing to work in shifts and flexibility in time to suit the work requirement.
- Occasional overtime may be required.
