WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience

• Five years of information technology experience with preferred three years in an information security-related role

• Knowledge of information security standards, principles, and practices

• Previous experience working in a Cyber Security Operations like in a Security Operations Center, on an Incident Response Team, in Cyber Threat Intelligence or in Cyber Threat Analytics

• Experience building cyber detections and dashboards

• Familiarity with cyber security SIEM or SOAR systems

• Understanding of endpoint, network, and other cyber security tools

• The ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to assess and communicate risk within a business context

• Passion for Nike, for security, and a drive for continuous learning

• Ability to balance and prioritize work

• Proven track record of success in fast-moving organizations with complex technology applications

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Senior Cyber Threat Analyst. This role is involved in data-driven security and performs threat analytics on a multi petabyte platform. This role is perfect for a team player with strong cyber security experience, curiosity, and communication skills. The ideal candidate must be a proven problem solver, adept at making good decisions under pressure, comfortable with cross-functional and distributed teams, and flexible with changing priorities.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll be working with the Cyber Threat Analytics team and performing these key tasks:

• You will build cyber security detections using leading-edge approaches to identify malicious and suspicious behavior.

• You will use your operational cyber security experience to build detections based on cyber security tools (IDS, IPS, Firewall, Proxy, Mail Filters, EDR, etc.) and IT logs to identify real-time and persistent threats to Nike.

You will report to the Director, Corporate Information Security located at ICC, with dotted line reporting to the Director, Cyber Threat Analytics located at World Headquarters.
