WHAT YOU BRING

• 10+ years of professional experience in application engineering.

• 5+ years hands-on experience in .NET, C#, WCF, MVC, XML, SQL, NUnit.

• Mock Framework, Dependency Injection, Windows Services, Stash/Bitbucket.

• Payment experience in working with multiple payment providers

• Well versed with Agile methodology.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

As the senior software engineer, you will be part of Retail Commerce organization, which is responsible for building next generation tools for Nike stores to help them perform sales. This includes Front of House – Point Of Sale systems and Back of House reporting and store management systems. Our systems are used in 37 countries and we serve 540M consumers and 46,000 athletes annually. We are in process of modernizing our tools from legacy solution to cloud based architecture. We are adding omni channel capabilities to our tools to serve our consumers better. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Global Store Payments team, you will be joining the global Direct-to-Consumer team to lay the groundwork for highly scalable solutions for Nike B&M stores. In this role, you are responsible for implementing solutions and automated processes that allow for rapid delivery of software. You will be part of an agile team responsible for delivering payment solutions that will be used within the four walls of the stores in over 20 countries. This is a team that’s always on the offense, working on innovative solutions and creating opportunities and solutions for the business.

Software engineer III, responsibilities include

• Create best practices and be a guardian of the current engineering practices within the team.

• Advocate new technologies or solutions within and outside of the team.

• Work with rest of the team to create strategies and goals for the team.

• Incorporate the latest technologies to aid in developing high quality, scalable applications

• As part of an agile team help develop large and complex project implementations.

• Coach and train other engineers within the team.
