Job Summary

Should have completed CA/ICWA Inter.
Managing and overseeing the day to day operations of the accounting department independently.

Monitoring and analysing accounting data and submission of Weekly, Monthly, Yearly MIS.
Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
Experience in the Hospitality Sector would be an added advantage.

Job Description:

· Lead operations for a process which delivers General Accounting deliverables including but not limited to:
· Collaborate closely with the different units to understand expectations and deliverable timelines and ensure that deliverables are met on time.
· Develop the team to take ownership and work independently, and effectively manage timelines.
· Manage resources to assist with ad-hoc reports and new processes to support the management team.
· Do the day to day activities of an accounting and reporting team that is performing Accounting & Reporting
· Provide support to the management team to present results, findings, etc.
· First point of escalation within the reporting line for dealing with issues (people/process/technology) and ensuring that compliance requirements are adhered to (e.g. company policies surrounding standard of conduct, information security, employment regulations)
· May serve as a subject matter expert on accounting transactions /areas.
· Be primarily responsible for the completion of General ledger activities through the team and self
· Should be highly proficient in managing closing of books of accounts under tight deadlines.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Qualification(s)

• CA/ICWA (Intermediate)

Experience
· 3-4 years of progressive experience in core General Accounting (GA) process with exposure of multiple processes within GA.
· Should have managed a team of 3-5 people.
· Preference to be given to candidates with Hospitality experience.
· Should have advance level of knowledge for accounting principles & practices with ability to pass accounting transactions.
· Prior experience of leading service delivery of complex and fragmented F&A processes.

Functional Competencies

• Advance level of proficiency in MS-Office (Excel & Word).
• Strong Finance & Accounting Domain Knowledge
• Must be detail oriented with strong analytical skills
• Working experience in an ERP environment would be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹20,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per month
