NOV Hiring for Logistics Analyst at Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline process and improve accuracy and efficiency within operations.
• Assist logistics process for the inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment (Import & Export) and delivery, and returns / rejections.
• Responsible for procurement through due process and work closely with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of parts.
• Manage current and long-term forecast projections to drive inventory planning goals.
• Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify vulnerabilities and close operational gaps
• Focus on safety, cost management and business growth in all interactions and directives
• Handle communications and negotiations with external suppliers
• Train and mentor team members
• Apprise customers and internal departments consistently regarding material delivery status against all open orders.
• Ensure accurate completion of all applicable import and export documentation.
• Ensure all the local and company corporate customs compliance requirement / policies are strictly adhered.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Supply Chain or related field
• 10+ years’ experience in supply chain management
• 4+ years’ experience in supervisor role
• Ability to lead, train and mentor employees on a personal level.
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
