The GPO Product Owner – Solutions T&E is part of the T&E Global Process Owner Team (GPO) under Global S2P GPO organization. The purpose of GPO Product Owner – Solutions T&E is to design, implement and govern the T&E systems & applications to achieve the best in class solutions. This role reports to the Head T&E Global Process Owner and collaborates with T&E GPO Team, IT Service Delivery Head and their direct reports to ensure global ownership and management of system solutions in line with T&E Core model. As a T&E Novartis technology expert focused on the Expense side of T&E, he/she/they will be the point of contact for all systems and automation solutions. Building a digital framework to ensure an automation mindset within the T&E Community and driving a pipeline of improvement ideas. Additional responsibilities are to ensure advanced analytics and enabling technologies for the T&E Process to support T&E best practice processes Your responsibilities include but not limited to: • Service Delivery: Design, develop, implement E2E system solutions within T&E Process area with focus on automation and robotics to ensure best in class process. Own T&E Solutions (System & Automation) product area and create strong governance for system improvement & change management • Work closely with S2P Analytics lead to support delivery of data from transaction perspective, thus enabling KPI/Dashboard solutions. System expert collaborating with the T&E GPO Expense/Process and IT Service Delivery Mgr to drive technology and platforms to ensure best practice process solutions to the T&E community. (Concur, AI/Robotics, ERP, etc.) • Providing a governance framework to operations for enabling technology in steady state. Responsible for executing overall project management responsibilities as required to support process changes impacting T&E applications (execute testing, regression testing on system changes). Responsible for continuously championing and engaging the T&E business for the application of data driven decision making • Point of contact with IT on T&E application matters such as security roles (GRC), NovaSol, Proton approvals, Robotics, etc. Support T&E related S4H implementation in line with LDC roadmap. Liaises with T&E GPO Expense/Process on system/application technology requests and recommend appropriate investment action (CIT) and to ensure full compliance. T&E Business Owner of Change Advisory Board (CAB) recommending technology investment to support Finance Core best practice, ensuring spend within budget • Compliance: Ensures IT standards are adhered and followed with execution of enabling technologies through relevant project methodology (i.e. access control, documentation, testing requirements etc.) Ensure all processes, policies and procedures are followed, clearly defined, fully documented and in line with Novartis standards. GRC T&E global roles (system security roles) are managed to ensure no SOD violations • Ensure T&E Community is using enabling technology solutions as defined by best practice process and do so by closely aligning within the T&E GPO team and working especially with S2P Analytics Lead and T&E GPO organization System/application enhancement requests (including Robotics) are properly detailed. Ensure proper logging in IT NovaSol tool and are fully executed to completion within defined cycle times. (Cycle time reporting. Enhancement spend does not exceed annual budget. • Increase in automation/digital solutions with clear performance outcomes. Establish and execute delivery of metrics on all digital/automation solutions to monitor performance expectations. IT projects supported by testing, training and participation throughout the whole project cycle, on time and within budget. nnnn Position Title: GPO Product Owner – Solutions T&E Minimum requirements: What you’ll bring to the role: • University level degree in Business Administration/ Finance / Accounting and/or Computer Science. Other Degree and comparable business knowledge. PMP Highly Desirable. Formal training with digitation/automation solutions desirable • More than 5 years of financial experience with 3 years focus in technology capacity. Experience of managing technology projects driving performance (e.g. ERP implementation) and process improvements • Very good SAP knowledge and capability of learning systems through past roles and responsibilities. Deep understanding of automation intelligence (RPA, RCA, ML) areas through proven activities • Excellent with Excel and Good with Microsoft Office Products. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization • Previous experience as a system analyst in shared service environment and T&E System portfolio (Concur, AppZen). Good with people, collaboration and communication skills.
