380744BR Job ID: 380744BR Job Description: About the role: This job requires strong customer service capabilities and ability to work with procurement systems and purchase-to-pay processes to ensure customers across the organization with a consistent high-level of service and help with their questions, concerns and requests. The position requires a self-driven, diligent, detail oriented and hard-working individual with knowledge and experience in Procurement and/or Finance and Data Management. Provides help desk support for internal business clients and external suppliers in accordance with procurement and Purchase to Pay policies and procedures. The successful candidate will possess the ability to understand complex system relationships, retrieve and combine different data points, will be an excellent communicator and conduct data cleansing processes in the context of transitioning from the existing environment to target environment Key responsibilities: • Perform Transactional Procurement controls in line with Novartis Financial Control Manual requirements • Administer help desk call or online questions on a day-to-day basis and serve as the first point of contact for all incoming Vendor Management & Transactional Procurement related queries from internal business clients across the organization • Provide superior customer service and transactional support for resolving requisition to pay processing issues, policy and compliance related guidance, and handling of other complaints • Responsible for capturing and recording complex questions and complaints and escalate to management for resolution when necessary as well as keeping the customer abreast until their initial question is addressed and resolved • Ensure timely and accurate information is provided to business customers according to operational standards and Service Level Agreements • Identify opportunities to streamline the process and lead improvement initiatives to keep the customer service function moving toward a best-in-class environment nnnn Position Title: Senior Specialist – Supplier Management & Transactional Procurement Minimum requirements: Essential Requirement • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration/Management, Procurement, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Mathematics or Industrial Engineering • 7+ years of relevant experience in a global environment in a similar position • Good Knowledge in SIM (Supplier Information Management), Ariba SLP, MDG, SAP SRM, SAP MM Module & MS Office • Possess good knowledge on Transactional Procurement – Indirect and understanding the system landscape.
