Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Job Purpose – Provide analytics solutions development, delivery and reporting support to Novartis internal customers, drive continuous improvements and elevate client experience. • Develop and execute data extraction, transformation and reporting process. Transform raw data into practical business insights. Develop interactive visualizations using state of the art tools (Novartis server compatible) to support users take data driven decisions. Design and deliver simplified user interfaces and user experience (UI/UX). • Generate custom analytical insights and showcase findings to the customer. Develop and maintain machine learning models and solutions. Eliminate manual steps by developing (semi) automation scripts / workflows for improved efficiency and enhanced deliverables’ quality. Support work on multi-functional projects using advance modelling and analytics techniques. Develop and maintain data models, reports, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions. Translate stakeholders’ requirements into business work. • Follow agile scrum principles for managing product / services development. Take ownership of improving client experience for applicable analytics solutions by regular customer connect, collecting feedbacks and managing expectations. Develop standardized processes by creating SOPs, work instructions and frameworks and comply to them. Develop systems / processes for seamless knowledge transfer, knowledge retention and retrieval. Provide support on solving business & process related problems. Drive continuous improvement projects for process simplification and improved efficiency. • Strengthen business relevance and continuity by adapting to latest analytics tools / approaches / trends and IT infrastructure. Drive development of proof of concept projects, ad hoc analysis, new reporting initiatives and customer showcasing. Facilitate trainings to the end users on functionality, utility of new solutions and dashboards. Monitor, comply and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of work. • Ensure Training on relevant procedures before taking up any GxP activities. Report deliverable status and continuously acquire process knowledge. Comply to the applicable Novartis operating procedures as per legal / IT / HR requirements. Align with all internal functional operating procedures like time tracking, KPI tracking and reporting, and other internal systems and processes. Become an incentive in developing and sustaining inspiring, curious and un-bossed culture. nnnn Position Title: Specialist Minimum requirements: What you’ll bring to the role: • Graduate / Postgraduate in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Lifesciences, Pharmaceuticals, operations management, Business management with min 3+ yrs experience. Excellent knowledge of data analytics, leading large and multiple datasets coming from multiple databases/sources. BI reporting and critical metric development • Experience in business intelligence, business analytics or data science organization. Hands on expertise on ETL and data wrangling tools like Alteryx, R, Python, SQL or similar. Hands on expertise on developing dashboards, UI/UX in QlikSense, Tableau, R Shiny (or similar) publish and managing access on server platform. VBA Macro and MS-Access knowledge will be an added advantage. • Hands on experience on developing simulations and real time KPIs monitoring dashboards. Experience in building and maintaining machine learning models • Fluent in English (written and spoken), Knowledge of any other language is beneficial. Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. • Understanding of supply chain/ Manufacturing / quality and associated areas. • Knowledge of CRISP-DM methodology to solve data science problems • Ability to work and lead agile team roles.
