NOVOTEL Hiring for Purchase Manager at Vizianagaram Full Time

Prime Function:

• Plan & initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the organization
• To determine effective and productive sales programs
• Relationship building with all the current and prospective customers.
• Update & upgrade knowledge and awareness of the facilities provided by Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach.
• Assist the Sales Manager in execution of sales plans and strategies.
• Any matter which may affect the interests of Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach should be brought to the attention of the Management.

Sales & Marketing Planning

• Assist the Sales Manager in the development of the Strategic Sales Plan for the segments.
• Ensure to achieve objectives established in the Organization’s Strategic Plan.

Operational

• Identify prospects for sales deals within targeted markets of the assigned area /segment and also prepare and conduct sales presentations in co ordination with the Sales Manager.
• Professionally conduct routine telemarketing activities to identify new accounts
• Submit monthly and weekly sales plan and market analysis (monthly) as well as daily sales/activity reports.
• Conduct regular Market Surveys and Competitor Research and contribute to increase the business volume.
• Contact Executives of organization to explain services and facilities offered by hotel and to solicit business.
• Establish an efficient Trade File to ensure that all business booked is properly tracked
• Prepare annual sales goals, develop working plans to carry out goals, compare actual achievements against goal, periodically take necessary corrective action

General

• Attends and contributes to all Meetings as required
• Ensure to provide a courteous and professional service at all times
• Handles guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst feeding back a prompt follow up.
• Take an active involvement in the Welfare, Safety, Development and well being of employees.

• Ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming
• Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
