Overview:

HSE/ESG role will play a critical role in supporting Nykaa’s Health, Safety & Environment

(HSE) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. This role involves collecting

data, preparing comprehensive reports, managing related projects, and presenting outcomes to the management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ESG and HSE frameworks and will be responsible for coordinating with consultants, assurance partners, and internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection & Management:

• Gather, monitor, and manage data related to ESG and HSE across Nykaa’s operations, including offices, warehouses, and retail stores.
• Ensure accurate and timely data collection for various reporting purposes, including regulatory requirements and management presentations.

2. MIS & Reporting:

• Prepare monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports to track key HSE/ESG metrics, performance indicators, and progress on projects.
• Analyze data and trends, providing insights and recommendations to improve ESG/HSE performance.

3. Project Management:

• Lead and execute various ESG and HSE projects, ensuring alignment with Nykaa’s goals and compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor the progress of projects, ensuring timely completion and effective delivery of outcomes.
• Drive initiatives to promote sustainability, safety, and compliance across all business units.

4. Coordination & Collaboration:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for ESG/HSE matters, coordinating with internal teams, external consultants, and assurance partners.
• Work closely with functional leads, including Operations, Facilities, and Compliance teams, to ensure seamless integration of HSE/ESG goals.
• Support cross-functional teams to implement ESG/HSE strategies and initiatives effectively.

5. ESG/HSE Framework & Compliance:

• Stay updated on the latest ESG and HSE frameworks, standards, and regulations.
• Ensure Nykaa’s policies and practices align with ESG and HSE guidelines, helping the company meet its sustainability goals and regulatory obligations.
• Assist in internal and external audits, providing the necessary data and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.

6. Presentations & Stakeholder Communication:

• Prepare detailed presentations to showcase ESG/HSE outcomes, progress, and key metrics to management and stakeholders.
• Communicate complex ESG/HSE data and insights in a clear, concise manner for decision-makers.

7. Consultant & Partner Coordination:

• o Collaborate with external ESG/HSE consultants, auditors, and assurance partners
• to ensure accurate reporting and alignment with industry best practices.
• o Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners to drive the effective
• implementation of ESG/HSE initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in ESG, HSE, sustainability, or related fields, with proven expertise in project management, data analysis, and reporting.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ESG and HSE frameworks, standards, and reporting mechanisms.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in handling data and preparing MIS reports, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with internal teams, management, and external stakeholders.
• Coordination: Ability to work effectively with consultants, assurance partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using data management tools, Microsoft Office, and presentation software.
