Role Overview:

You will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of our search capabilities to enhance the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in product management, with a strong background in building search products and leveraging ML/ data science. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, design, and business stakeholders, to deliver a world-class search experience for our users.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and drive the product strategy and roadmap for search capabilities on Nykaa in alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and design teams to define and prioritize search features, algorithms, and enhancements that improve search relevance, accuracy, and user satisfaction.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user feedback analysis to identify opportunities and trends in search technology and user behavior, and apply insights to inform product decisions.
• Define and track key performance metrics related to search, such as search conversion rates, click-through rates, and user engagement, and continuously optimize the search experience based on data-driven insights.
• Work closely with data science and engineering teams to build and improve search algorithms, models, and ranking systems that leverage machine learning and natural language processing techniques.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate third-party data sources, tools, and APIs to enhance the search experience and drive innovation.
• Partner with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually appealing search interfaces that improve discoverability and user engagement.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and implement monetization opportunities within the search experience, such as sponsored search results or personalized recommendations.
• Drive cross-functional coordination and communication to ensure timely and successful execution of search-related projects, including coordinating with engineering teams on technical implementation and testing.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management, with a focus on search products for 2+ years
• Strong understanding of search technologies, algorithms, and data science principles, with a proven track record of delivering successful search experiences.
• Experience working in mid to large organizations, preferably in the e-commerce or technology sector.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Passion for user-centric design and a customer-first mindset, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.
• Proven ability to hire, lead and motivate teams, driving results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of the beauty & fashion industry, including trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape, is a plus.
