Job Description
OAKS Bodhgaya is looking for an IT Executive to provide end user support, maintain LAN and WAN, Knowledge of IDS , ensure information security.
About the role
As an IT Executive your task will be maintaining computer systems and making sure that all IT-related devices are functioning properly. Provide technical support and resolve hardware/software problems of the organization’s assets as well as you have to Keep track of all IT assets and transfer them to other departments in accordance with policies and requirements. You have to ensure that systems stay secure, technology support is available.
Responsibilities
● Ensure an effective, resilient and responsive IT support (Hardware, software, networking) to different operation units
● Handling day to day IT related activities.
● Screen the IT Ticketing Application and provide the related solutions to the users in time with accuracy as per SLA.
● Follow tracker to maintain IT requirements for different operational departments
● Setting up computer OS & security measures (antivirus, firewall, active directory).
● Liaison with the user to ensure that requests or problem reports have been satisfactorily handled
● Prepare and maintain IT inventory records; keep track of all equipment.
● Monitoring resource utilization and performance of infrastructure components and ensuring 24×7 service availability.
● Preparing accurate and timely reports & proper documentation
● Responsible for LAN and WAN maintenance by keeping close liaison with ISP
Qualifications
● ITIL certification will be added advantage
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, both on a proactive, planned, project basis as well as a crisis/problem recovery situation.
● Very good problem-solving experience and time savvy
● Basic knowledge in Active Directory System, Server, email service etc.
● Basic knowledge about TCP/ IP, LAN, Layer-2, VPN, Cyber Security
● Computer literacy in MS-Office (Word, excel, PPT,).
● 2-3 years of experience is preferred as an IT support specialist.
● Experience in MNC/ Hotel Industry / ISP/ other IT service desk is preferred. Specific skills/technical expertise requirement.
● Bachelor’s / Diploma degrees in CSE, EEE , or related fields are preferred.
