POSITION SUMMARY:

· Oracle Exadata machine expert

· Expert in managing database on cloud

· Significant knowledge of UNIX / LINUX/AIX/ Windows operating systems

· Expertise in implementing/Configuring Oracle Grid/CRS, ASM, RAC technologies

· Experience with Setup and Maintain Oracle Data guard for Disaster recovery, Golden gate

· Good Exposure of performance tuning and troubleshooting

· Database Recovery (Oracle 10g,11g,12c, RMAN, Data Guard, RAC)

· Good exposure to Oracle recoveries using RMAN / User Managed Backups

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Expert in oracle Exadata machine administration

· Expert in managing oracle databases on Exadata machine

· Expert in managing database on cloud

· Golden gate expert

· Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle Database software and related products

· Evaluate Oracle features and Oracle related products

· Expert in oracle RMAN back cup & recovery, cloning, duplication database

· Build stand alone and cluster database

· Execute complex recoveries in DR Scenarios

· Identify the Gaps and provide documentation / suggestion faced during Execution

· Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures

· Take care of the Database design and implementation

· Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)

· Implement Active Data Guard and High Availability Solutions for DR.

· Perform database tuning and performance monitoring

· Setup and maintain documentation and standards

· Plan growth and changes (capacity planning)

· Should provide 24X7 operation support

· Technical analysis and troubleshooting to fix the issue

· Patch Management and Version Control

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

· Education: BE/B.TECH in IT/CS/CE

· Should have 4-6 years of experience as Oracle DBA.

· We are looking for experienced Oracle DBA professionals for our 24×7 operations center to work as Oracle database administrator

· Should have OCP certificate

· Ability to communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical business representatives

· Excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment and the ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staff.

TRAINING / LICENSING REQUIREMENTS (only add if needed)

OCP and OCE certificate needed

WORK SCHEDULE OR TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS (Only add if needed)

Should be willing to travel domestic or International depending on project requirements.

Work schedule will be rotational shift including night shift.
