As a Legal Officer, you will be responsible for providing legal support and advice on real estate matters. You will work closely with clients, reviewing and drafting contracts, conducting due diligence, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent
Strong knowledge of real estate laws and regulations
Experience in reviewing and drafting contracts
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibility:
Drafting of real estate documentation and liaising with relevant departments
Negotiating real estate contract terms and conditions for outright purchase, long term leases
Reviewing and preparing leases and amendments and identifying any legal risks in the real estate documentations
Drafting memorandum of Understandings, Joint Development Agreements, Agreement of Sale, Sale Deeds, Power of Attorney, Procurement Agreements etc and other deeds in relation to property.
Actively participate and lead the discussions for the legal aspects of a Companys lease / real estate purchases.
Responsible for coordinating real estate legal matters .in conjunction with external law firms and senior advocates.
Assist and advice on regulatory and compliance-related legal real estate requirements.
Working with internal and external stakeholders to provide legal opinions and advisory on issues related to real estate matters .
Anticipating potential real estate legal issues and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Understanding real estate legal requirements and advising them accordingly
Representing Company in court and drafting legal pleadings for real estate matters
