Job Description

• To take full responsibility of the shift to ensure up keep time/ availability of all machines
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance of all machines and utility equipment’s.
• Co-ordinate with external agencies and local manufacturers to resolve machine related issues.
• Co-ordinate with purchase department for maintenance material procurement.
• Spare part management with optimum inventory level.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment, housekeeping standards by educating and demonstrating personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and other resources are used in an effective manner to ensure best operating costs, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. IATF16949: 2016, & ISO 14001.
• Be able to make appropriate decisions while following the company’s organizational structure. Able to work extended hours on occasions when required. Must be able to work in all three shifts.
• To ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company in line with the companies Health and Safety policy.
• Focus on 5S, TPM, Poka-yoke, 7 QC tools, 8D, problem solving and troubling shooting·

Requirements

• Self-motivated and result driven professional having worked in a high mass volume manufacturing environment as a Shift Supervisor or within an equivalent capacity. Ideally from an automotive background.
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
• Empathic communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advance skill in MS office, SAP exposure shall be added advantage.
• Industrial hydraulic & Pneumatic knowledge required.
• Electrical engineering awareness will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Mechanical & Hydraulic presses

Qualifications

B.E. Mechanical with 2-3 years’/ Diploma in Mechanical with 4-5 years experience
