Job Summary:

As the Head of Central Operations at Ola (ride hailing, financial service and new initiatives), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the operations cutting across customer experience, safety & compliance and partner audit . Your role will be instrumental in driving efficiency, and excellence in service delivery, ultimately contributing to the company’s growth and success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute operational strategies to enhance customer and platform experience which are aligned with the company’s objectives and long-term goals.
• Collaborate with senior management to define operational priorities and initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze operational data to drive informed decision-making and corrective actions.
• Work closely with other departments (such as technology, marketing, finance) to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational efforts.
• Measure status against operational compliance requirements & engage with business functions & product to close gaps (Both India & International)
• Maintaining the licencing lifecycle and handling RTO queries wrt licenses
• Monitor changes in the government policies & provide inputs for new policies
• Implement and maintain quality assurance standards to ensure service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Implement best practices and standards to improve workflow and resource utilization.
• Drive scalability initiatives to support business growth and expansion into new markets.
• Assess operational readiness for new product launches or market entries.
• Develop contingency plans and protocols to address operational disruptions and emergencies.
• Lead crisis response and recovery efforts as necessary.

Requirements:

• Masters / MBA degree in finance, risk management, or a related field preferably from Tier 1 or Tier 2 colleges
• 10+ years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably in the technology or mobility industry.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
