This person is responsible for deploying and supporting business applications and providing guidance to business analysts . Oversees select modules within the assigned functional track with accountability for all levels of the system development lifecycle including design, implementation, cutover, and support for the select modules.
Consulting and assisting in the implementation, development, system design, conversion and support for applicable business systems.
Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
Applies functional knowledge to design and customize workflow systems to provide seamless integration for users.
Translates business needs into technical requirements. Writes functional requirements, develop test plans, and works with production issues.
Coordinates, implements and communicates system change requirements.
Assists with design , implementation, test and support of RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements/Extensions and Workflows).to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient.
Performs business analysis of systems and follows through full development life cycle.
Troubleshoots basic problems and recommends appropriate actions.
Analyzes business processes, identifies process deficiencies, researches solutions, and plans and coordinates correction of these deficiencies.
Writes and validates business requirements and conducts system tests.
Coaches less-experienced business systems analysts.
Experience:
5 years required, 7 years preferred overseeing direction, development, and implementation of software solutions.
3 year required, 5 years preferred technical experience creating and delivering technology solutions.
3 year required, 5 years preferred working with core software applications.
EDUCATION:
Skills:
Experience in project management, planning and completing large and small projects.
Strong organization skills.
Excellent ability to accurately communicate complex concepts in ways that resonate with the leadership, business stakeholders and wider organization. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data from various sources to draw insights that inform strategy and prioritization.
Strive for continuous process improvement and innovation on business platforms.
Experience in Distribution industry software implementation.
