Job Description

We are searching for freshers for the position of Content Quality Analyst (English & Malayalam).
A Content QA focuses on fact-checking, proofreading for grammar and punctuation and typographical errors, and wording. They also conduct a test to ensure functionality on multiple platforms, as well as a test of all interactives to make sure that links to internal and external pages work.
Content QA edit and proof copy/content to improve its readability by correcting errors and adding clarity. This often includes fixing spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes, factual errors etc.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Must use their expertise with style guides and language syntax to fix inconsistencies and errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and design.
• Content QA assesses and interprets data including advertising copy, web content, translations, product description, blog articles and print media.
• They suggest article topics to writers and work in print media, data translation, or advertising. After writers submit articles on suggested topics, they analyse their content to ensure accuracy and check it, paying careful attention to grammar and facts.
• They also examine the content’s readability to ensure it reaches desired audiences in the desired manner.
• Coordinate with the internal/external copy team to maintain quality deliverables. Review the web, blog and social media post content developed by copywriters/designers for content accuracy and style.
• Content QA will be responsible for acceptance and approval of final deliverables to clients in terms of content.
• Participate in regular creative team brainstorm sessions.

Required Skills

• Must have strong language command and a penchant for vocabulary and grammar alongside aptitude to grasp and apply their acquired knowledge.
• The ability to conduct research is considered as an important skill for content analysts. They often need to research topics and write about them in a way that’s engaging and informative. This can include researching the topic, finding sources to support the topic and writing about the topic in a way that’s easy to understand.
• Good knowledge of various content platforms such as social media, blogs, and print media.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Malayalam).
• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, or related field.
• Must be a good team player who can also work independently to achieve the goals set by the company.
• Ability to understand the needs associated with a project and the target audience.
