Ace Productions is at the beginning of a major growth phase. We’re in the process of formulating a multi-year plan to transform our product and our brand. This is a key moment in our journey and an opportunity to define the visual identity of our product and organisation.

Role

This position would also suit candidates with the following background: Senior Designer, Design Lead, Graphic Designer, Creative Lead, Design Lead, Senior Graphic Designer.

Do you have an innovative, creative, and consultative approach to delivering an exceptional user experience through great design? Are you passionate about the power of design to influence and shape customer experience? Do you possess a thoughtful and rigorous design process, a growth mindset, and a willingness to learn from fellow multidisciplinary designers? If so, we’d love to work with you!

You will have a very particular set of skills, skills that you have acquired over a very long career and skills that make you ideal for this role:

• 5+ years of visual design experience.
• A portfolio that showcases your work and demonstrates a practical knowledge of design and branding standards.
• Expert knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent knowledge of design techniques for digital, interface, print and (optionally) motion.
• In-depth knowledge of design principles and usability heuristics.
• Strong design craft and layout skills, a passion for typography and impeccable attention to detail.
• Strong artistic skills, including hand rendering and sketching capabilities, would be a bonus.
• Ability to manage the design process from design concept to a finalised solution ready for release and production.

Your Responsibilities

• Communicate our story; by producing high-quality, distinguished visual assets for our website, application, and marketing materials.
• Maintain our brand standards and consistency across all platforms, keeping
• Create detailed design specifications based on established design principles, while considering usability and accessibility standards.brand/style guides and templates up to date.
• Deliver high-quality, implementation-ready visual assets to our Engineering team for use in our website and applications.
• Contribute to the design of user interface components and patterns in line with established usability heuristics.
• Collaborate with team members across Product and Marketing to gather input for your design process and carefully critique ideas.
• Communicate your design rationale clearly at all levels to gather and manage feedback from stakeholders.
• Select and commission illustrators, photographers, voice artists, and animators.
• Prioritise projects and design tasks of your own and others to ensure projects meet customer needs and deadlines.
