Performance Test Engineer

Pune, India – Full Time

As a Performance Test Engineer you should have the following mandatory skills:

• 3-6 years of performance test engineering experience

• Expertise in performance tests with Jmeter

• Experience in testing SaaS based products in AWS, handling large volumes of data

• Ability to identify data base issues through load testing

• Strong knowledge of DB tuning, improve scalability and optimise queries

• Hands-on Knowledge of PL/SQL query

• Hands-on experience in API performance testing

• Expert in compiling, analysing and interpreting performance test results

• Sound knowledge of application, server-side, DB monitoring

• Understanding of throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilization

• Ability to understand hardware and software architectures

• Sound knowledge of build tools and continuous integration using Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, etc.

• Hands-on experience in K6 is good to have

• Understanding of Ruby is an added advantage

• Performance testing experience with React, Mongo and Postgres technology stack is an added advantage

• Should be ready to work in an environment which may demand individual contribution as well as a team player

• Attention to detail and good interpersonal and communication skills

  Role and Responsibilities –

• Execute Performance, Load, Stress, Endurance, and other non-functional performance tests

• Monitor application logs to determine system behaviour. Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection and DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications

• Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis

• Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & bottleneck problem in the application

• You will coordinate the performance testing activities for various product lines across Onit

• Collaborate with application teams to gather requirements, design and execute tests

• Analyze report discrepancies to determine the root cause and evaluate script failures at a high level

• Compare and analyze system behaviour vs. expected results/KPIs based on business and technical requirements

• You will identify issues, propose system improvements, and perform repetitive test execution to resolve identified issues

• You will participate in and contribute to internal design reviews of testing materials

  Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required
