The Opportunity:
The Consultant will be responsible for implementing an Enterprise Content Management solution, assisting customers with the proper sizing and scaling of the architecture, and performing the installations and configurations of the solution. The Consultant should understand customer requirements and advises customers on solution options. They will be responsible for bringing their expertise to the customer situation during the development of the software. Will also apply business skills and consulting methodologies to collect and analyze data. Exhibits a broad knowledge of all service offerings within Open Text working with other team members to grow and extend knowledge as the product offering extends in features and settings.
You are great at:

• Should be able to independently (or with minimal help) develop software of average technical complexity.
• Responsible for timely delivery as agreed within the project without compromising on product quality
• Able to provide bottom-up estimates for the assigned parts of work
• Interacts well with peers and communicates in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written on his/her work
• Actively participate and contribute to analysis, design, planning, processes, etc., Raise issues where needed and create sensitivity towards timely resolution of problems.
• Adopt agile development methodologies and test-driven development practices.

What it takes:

• Bachelors or advanced degree preferably related to Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Should have very good problem solving, analytical, design and coding skills
• 3 to 6 years’ experience with OpenText AppWorks /Process Suite, is mandatory.
• Good to have knowledge on Appworks latest versions i.e, version 16+.
• Knowledge on either Entity Modeling and / or Angular2+ is desirable.
• Knowledge on OTDS, Content Server and other Opentext products is a plus.
• Proficiency with XML, SOA, Object Orientation, SQL databases, network architecture.
• Proficiency with programming in Java, JavaScript, Basic Web development.
• Very good knowledge of SOAP, REST web services and related technologies.
• Very good knowledge of Single Sign-on mechanisms and related standards.
• General knowledge of web servers, browsers, and other internet applications.
