The Opportunity:
The Brand Copy Editor will be responsible for aligning all company content with the corporate brand voice, tone and messaging. This individual will edit and review content across corporate channels to ensure high quality content that follows industry best practices and highlights the company brand. This position will report up to the Director, Brand Content Strategy. It requires a self-starter with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will also have outstanding organizational abilities and a flair for producing engaging and interesting copy.
You are great at:
Work with Director, Brand Content Strategy to create a content recipe and structure to bring message to market across channels and deliver final pieces that are consistent with the corporate brand identity
Ensure all content maintains corporate brand voice guidelines to bring OpenText’s brand voice and message to life across all distribution channels
Review content from across the the organization including marketing/sales collateral, email communications, social posts and video scripts
Support internal product marketing and corporate branding requests
Simplify technical verbiage to create easy to understand assets
Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organization
What it takes:
7+ years of experience in copy development or other related position
Proven ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Excellent understanding of grammar and various writing styles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Conent analytics and measurement is an asset
Bachelor in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field
