We are looking to hire,

Designation : Applications Engineer

Reporting to : Senior Development Manager

Oracle has a very large product footprint in the Supply Chain Planning area and is also aggressively building Cloud/SaaS supply chain products – this is a great chance to be part of a dynamic team building next generation products.

About Business Unit:

Oracle is focused on helping the world’s premier brands maximize the success of their online businesses. The Value Chain Planning development team is primarily responsible for developing Supply Chain Planning applications for its fusion applications releases. The development teams are distributed with development centers in SFO, Burlington, Toronto, Bangalore and Hyderabad. The teams are responsible for new as well as sustained development of the Value Chain Planning product suite.

Essential/Required Skills:

• 1 to 3 years programming experience in Java/J2EE and related technologies, Oracle DB, SQL and PL/SQL Programming

• Ability to work with a variety of extended teams, including developers, designers, product managers, technical writers, marketers, technical support personnel and customers in a cooperative, yet fast-paced environment

• Excellent software architecture, implementation, and problem solving skills

• Familiarity with standard professional software development processes including source code control, unit testing, and code reviews

• Experience developing using object-oriented design

• Developing packaged software (as opposed to professional service engagements)
