Position Overview:
We are looking for people for engineering and administration of Oracle standalone and RAC clustered (11g, 12c) database environments
Implementation of changes to system configurations, software, and infrastructure within the approved testing schedule. Performs database system management functions (e.g., software installs, version upgrades and configuration management)
Deploy, Administer, Support and maintain WebLogic middleware applications to enable communication between financial applications on diverse platforms with varying interfaces. Work You’ll Do
DBA :
Engineering and administration of Oracle standalone and RAC clustered (11g, 12c) database environments
Implementation of changes to system configurations, software, and infrastructure within the approved testing schedule. Performs database system management functions (e.g., software installs, version upgrades and configuration management)
Middleware Admin:
Deploy, Administer, Support and maintain WebLogic middleware applications to enable communication between financial applications on diverse platforms with varying interfaces.
Ability to installation, configure, adminstrate, troubleshoot WebLogic environments.
Working with bank and partners for delivery of Oracle Deliverables.

Required Skills:
Administration of Oracle standalone and RAC clustered (12c and 19c) database environments
Providing ongoing progress to leadership, system owners, and peers regarding health of the environment and status of testing
Supporting and documenting the implementation of approved changes to system configurations, software, and infrastructure within the approved testing schedule
Performs database system management functions (e.g., software installs, version upgrades and configuration management)
Provided daily backup and recovery services and data pump for company production databases and customer databases.
Create and configure data security realm, configure rule sets, and secure application roles with database vault, and audit the data changes for enterprise databases.
Provided Oracle DBA supports for company mission-critical OLTP database including production database backup restore/refresh, troubleshooting, run time event investigation.
Provided on-call support for mission-critical production databases including database performance monitoring, application-related run-time monitoring.
Experience in implementation of Oracle partitioning
Performed Hot/Cold backup Clone from production to staging, moved production databases from one server to another.
Middleware Admin:Responsibilities:
Oracle FUSION WebLogic Software installation and Maintenance (11.x, 12.x versions)
Installing WebLogic patches, service packs etc.
WebLogic Application server administration.
Performance monitoring and tuning – Basic
Carrying out Thread Dump Analysis, Heap dump analysis etc.
Configuring of LDAP and Security realms – Basic
Developing automation scripts.
Applying utilities like WebLogic.Admin, WebLogic.Deployer etc.
Integrating with HTTP servers.
Troubleshooting of JAR, EAR, WAR etc.
Required Skills:
Deploy, Administer, Support and maintain middleware applications to enable communication between financial applications on diverse platforms with varying interfaces.
Responsible for the installation, maintenance and configuration of WebLogic environments.
Assess and identify appropriate changes and make recommendations for implementation.
Perform WebLogic system administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, problem resolution, system security and change implementation.
Perform WebLogic installation, administration and documentation.
Work individually or in a team on various system projects related to UNIX, Linux, Windows and Application support.
Plan, prepare and apply maintenance fixes and upgrades to WebLogic software.
Assist application support team with high level problem program debugging through heap and thread dump analysis.
Provide system support including off shift on call support as and when required. Increase staff skill levels by cross training.
Soft Skills:

Leadership skills to lead, motivate and guide a team
Others:
Willingness to travel Onsite to Customer if required.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters in Engineering or Science

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
