Senior Member of Technical Staff:

ACS SaaS Engineering organization envisions building a platform and Control Plane to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while advocating for customer needs. In this role, you will be accountable for ACS engineering solutions, pipeline development, monitoring, and deployment strategies on cloud solutions. You will be working with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Containerization, Helm, GitOps, PaaS, Terraform, and Cloud infrastructure. You are expected to build standard reference architecture to arrive at pipelines for cloud infrastructure, continuous integrations, and continuous delivery/deployment. You will be engaged with a highly collaborative DevOps team to build effective DevOps solutions in the cloud and support ACS Functional teams. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing end-to-end DevOps framework and pipelines

• Developing tools for today and tomorrow using industry-standard DevOps practices

• Software service performance analysis and system tuning

• Ability to communicate information and ideas to individuals and teams in an articulate, focused, and compelling way. Willing to offer intellectual mindshare

• Compares information from multiple sources to identify core issues. Uses data to make decisions and understands that instinct plays a part in innovating.

• Always uses good common sense combined with Emotional Intelligence.

• Shall possess excellent verbal & communication skills, and a passion for presenting new learning to the organization

• Demonstrate strong quality orientation and get involved in an organizational process that will enhance organizational productivity

• Demonstrate dedication and responsibility in delivering results and shall be a team player and lead by example by understanding organization goals

Desired Skills/Experience

• BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent

• Love programming and rock-solid in one or more languages.

• Strong programming skills in Golang, Python, Java

• Preferably 2+ years experience in Golang

• Experience in REST API development

• Experience in Cloud Native technologies a must (Docker, Kubernetes, open-source toolsets like Istio, Linkerd, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, Terraform, Nginx)

• Experience working with Linux operating systems, software configuration, networking, standard internet services, cloud computing patterns, technology security and compliance

• Database technologies: Oracle/MySQL preferred

• Git branching strategies and distributed development

• At least 3-5 years of software development and experience in shipping at least one product release .

• Knowledge of Cloud PaaS/SaaS/IaaS environment

• Ability to follow standard engineering principles using Agile development methodology and DevOps practices, including CI / CD and test automation.

• Must have demonstrated a curious, questioning mindset in previous work, along with a creative and analytical approach to problem-solving

• Most importantly, the aptitude to be a good collaborator and the willingness to learn and implement new Cloud technologies as needed .

• Critical thinker with a can-do attitude and aptitude to pick up new technologies and self-motivated.

• Good Oral and Written communication skills
