Job Description
As part of Oracle’s marketing team, develop integrated marketing design for events, campaigns, collateral, launches, direct mail, logo design, e-marketing efforts, corporate identity and design for a global community. Set the tone for Direct Marketing, Events, and Branding Development. Work with team to build new technology demonstrations and content to support Oracle’s global marketing programs.
Collaborate with project teams to plan, analyze, organize, and execute assigned projects that define the aesthetics, visual design, and/or layout of product artwork, component design, marketing materials, and packaging that enhances Oracle’s product image. Assess the effectiveness of the project image and presentation needs.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 2 years relevant experience.

TEAM DESCRIPTION
Brand Experience Design (BExD) Team
We are customer obsessed designers, story tellers, and creative strategists. We support prioritized initiatives across Oracle by delivering innovative, strategic, creative, and differentiated content across every touch point. Our success is measured by the partners we help and the business impact we make.
Our designers, writers, content creators, social gurus, and project managers work with teams across Oracle to develop campaign and marketing assets that create a meaningful, consistent brand experience for our customers. Our team supports everything from developing global campaign creative assets for pillar teams and Oracle Brand Advertising to sales enablement assets and events to user research and video production.

You’re a designer that can stretch across a magnitude of user experiences. You look at interaction design, campaigns, visual design and brand, typography, motion, 3D, human factors, and more as tools in the UX designer’s toolkit. You may have strengths in some of these areas, and want to learn more in others, but you know how to talk about each and work with your colleagues to combine them all into an experience that delights.
You get stuff done. Whether working across multiple teams or independently you figure out how to deliver.
You’re a fantastic storyteller. You know that our products and touchpoints tell our customers a story through the user experience. You won’t rest until that story is a compelling one.
You love rules and you know when to break them. You think systemically because you know that creating a coherent experience requires it. But you know when the system needs to expand to accommodate a user’s varied conceptual model. And you know when to do something completely unique to create an arresting and product-defining moment in the product that makes users ooh and aah.

What will you do as a Designer on the Brand Experience Team at Oracle?
You will collaborate closely with the pillar Creative Director and Marketing partners to understand our customers and imagine creative ways to tell the Oracle brand and product stories
You will conceptualize and design marketing demand gen campaigns and brand assets; illustrations, messaging, ebooks, digital display, videos, and style guides.

What will be your primary responsibilities?
As a member of the Pillar Creative team, your focus will be to design and support Oracle’s campaign and marketing outputs—build out brand assets and develop visually compelling & strategic communications and content. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to create and bring ideas to life that help drive customer engagement for Oracle, while constantly pushing creative boundaries to create truly impactful experiences for our customers.
Core responsibilities:
Work directly with the pillar CD and ACD to define the creative concept and execute them from start to finish.
Bring fresh creative ideas to the table that is strategic and differentiated
Design across a variety of touchpoints: web, print, e-books, infographics, video, display, events
Present and persuade stakeholders
Lead and collaborate with production designers to make sure your work is executed at the highest bar
What is the preferred qualification & experience?
Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years professional experience in related field advertising or graphic design with proven agency and/or in-house experience
Strong or award-winning portfolio of work
Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, MS PowerPoint and HTML 5 (is a plus)
Ability to combine business strategy, brand strategy, and customer insight to create compelling creative
Ability to adapt to change quickly and work in both structured and changing environments
Must be comfortable presenting ideas to senior level stakeholders, receptive of feedback, and quick to apply changes
Must be comfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage multiple priorities well
Must have expertise and experience with creating content for print media, digital/web, OOH, broadcast, social
Self-driven and able to be both strategic and execution oriented
Superior written, verbal, and visual communication skills; must be able to edit own work
