Job Description
Executes security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs.
Researches attempted efforts to compromise security protocols. Maintains security systems for routers and switches. Administers security policies to control access to systems. Maintains the company’s firewall. Uses applicable encryption methods. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information.
Job duties are varied and complex; independent judgment needed. May have project lead role. Prefer 5 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.
Responsibilities
As part of the ACS Risk Management team, you will join a fast-paced organization responsible for keeping Oracle’s employees, data, and assets safe. As a member of this high performing team, you will maintain certifications for various business groups which are critical for the success of business. You will offer consulting expertise and assess compliance to standards. You will run processes related to information security risk management, lead certifications for the organization, and define, document, maintain, and communicate security services for enterprise programs.
The role also specifically involves managing ISO 27001 certifications for Customer Services and few Cloud organizations. This would comprise of compliance audits and assessments of the business and support groups as well as follow up and closure of observations. The role also requires managing customer queries, questionnaires etc.
You will need to effectively collaborate with business leaders, partners and support the business requirements from an IT security perspective. This role requires the business skills necessary to appreciate the big picture challenges, and involves discussing prudent risk management with Oracle’s senior executives to effectively ensure risks are actively mitigated to an acceptable level.
