*Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience., * for Oracle SDWAN Development Engineer in Bangalore. Oracle SDWAN software development team is seeking experienced software engineer. We are seeking candidates with 2-5 years of intensive Java development experience in a Linux environment and prior telecom or networking experience. Location: Prestige Tech Park, Bangalore, India About us:Oracle Failsafe SD-WAN delivers both MPLS-class high availability and high QoE (Quality of Experience) predictable application performance for both TCP-based apps and real-time apps like VoIP and videoconferencing, whether built on a hybrid MPLS plus Internet WAN fabric, or a WAN made up only of Internet connections.RESPONSIBLITIES

• Rapid and continuous learning to support new features, innovation.
• Design, develop, maintain and unit test Oracle SDWAN software on Linux platform.
• Work/Co-ordinate/collaborate with global Oracle Communications team in Agile development environment.
• Review, troubleshoot and resolve field escalations. Write root cause analysis for field issues.
• Participate in discussions and maintenance to improve the software performance, maintainability, serviceability, and reliability.
• Other duties may be assigned.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:The Oracle SDWAN team is currently seeking someone with 2-5 years of Java software engineering in a Linux environment. Prior telecom, networking, database experience is expected.Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelors or MCA equivalent engineering/computer science education spanning 4 years.
• Experience with relational database (MySQL preferred) and SQL.
• Programming languages: Java
• Web technologies: OJET, Knockout, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
• Strong background on Linux and multithreaded programming.

Good to have:

• Scripting Languages: Perl
• Web technologies: PHP
• Web frameworks: e.g. CakePHP, Angular.js
• Experience with NoSQL database like InfluxDB
• XML, XSLT
• RPC protocols: e.g. Thrift, REST
• AJAX
• Bootstrap UI

• Authentication protocols: e.g. Radius, Tacacs+, SSO, etc.
