Job Description

This is a field specialist role which needs interpersonal and technical skills to collaborate with the sales team. This person should be able to establish value through presentations, demonstrations and benchmarks/POCs. Should be able to convert customer business and operational challenges into deployable technical solution leveraging Oracle technology stack. This position requires advance skills with wide ranging experience. This candidate must use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex technology issues in creative and effective ways. Must have clarity on concepts around leading technology trends in the industry.

Responsibilities

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical engagement with prospective clients and partners while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced team members. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative solutions. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Collaborates with other business units of Oracle to provide the best solution that solves customer business and operational challenges. Leads all aspects of the technical sales process. Must be comfortable and experienced in setup and hands-on demo/PoC in the customer environments. This person should be able to work with minimum supervision and must be an ace collaborator for close collaboration with the sales, support, delivery, engineering, and product management. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Must have effective time management skills to prioritize high priority tasks. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
