Job Description
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities
As Java SE Subscription Product Managers you will work with the most dedicated Development Team and interact with sales, support, customers, and members of the open source Java community to understand developers’ and system administrators’ needs.
You will help design, validate, and get to market tools and services for deploying, securing, updating, and managing Java deployments in enterprises of all sizes.
This job responsibilities include:
Analyze and understand the competitive landscape for Software Platform
Create compelling messaging and content that clearly communicates Oracle’s product value proposition to both internal sales teams and external customers
Drive product roadmap innovation by gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing inputs from our field team, customers, prospects, partners, and analysts
Partner with sales and marketing to deliver high-quality product collateral and positioning
Communicate complex ideas and topics to multiple audiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS or MS degree or equivalent experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Past experience managing a technical or enterprise product or service
Be able to work with and communicate internally & with the customer at all levels, including engineers, end-users, partners to senior leaders.
