Job Description
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle’s Financial Services Analytical Applications group is responsible for the development and marketing of financial industry-specific marketing, profitability, risk management, fraud, and regulatory compliance analytics applications. Our software is used in over 70% of Global Systemically Important Financial Institutions. Our market leading financial crime and compliance software suite is used by leading financial institutions globally and underpins Anti-Money Laundering and Enterprise Fraud systems at some of the largest financial institutions in the world.
Oracle software is powered by advanced analytics (Big Data, R, Apache Spark, Engineered Machines), and our group employs data scientists, financial engineers, software developers, and product managers; all of whom are focused exclusively on developing advanced analytical applications for the Financial Services Industry.
We are looking for an individual with prior experience in B2B applications and analytics to assist a team of product developers who are responsible for a suite of financial crime and compliance applications. Role Description
We have a world-class team of product managers who are responsible for our Financial Crime and Compliance (FCCM) applications. You will be an integral member of this team and be responsible for the development of products that focus on Transaction Filtering.
This role requires knowledge of high transaction online payment environment or APIs, experience in payments, working knowledge of different formats (e.g. IS020022, SWIFT, SEPA, Fedwire) on a global level. It will require you to understand complex business challenges, translate them into functional requirements and work closely with the development team to drive the development forward, targeting timely and high-quality product releases to ensure client success.
You will part of the team that supports the direction for Oracle’s Financial Services Analytics Group and as such, you are expected to work in close collaboration with Product Management, Data Science, Engineering and Sales leadership in the development and implementation of the requirements for the Regulatory Reporting compliance applications.

You will be responsible for…
Driving the product strategy and execution forward, prioritizing differentiating features which will make a meaningful positive impact for our users and buyers. Focusing on inbound aspects such as product roadmap, requirements backlog, product timelines, and support QA & product maintenance activities, consulting enablement and training/documentation collateral.
Support strategic PM in end-to-end prototyping business use cases, market research and evaluate technical alternatives to complex market challenges.
Be the customer seat in the engineering team, deep passion for satisfying customer needs and influencing design and priority appropriately.
Developing the requirements for your product portfolio and for translating the department’s vision into practical product requirements.
The product backlog is kept up to date and development process is moving forward.
Performing market analysis and definition and how it impacts product strategy and position. Analyzing the competitive landscape. Assisting in the marketing plan to develop collateral such as product messaging trees and data sheets.
Present the development milestones and perform hands-on demonstrations of early prototypes to key customers.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in product management or business analyst roles, working with enterprise level B2B products or at a financial institution
3+ years of experience in payments or financial crime and compliance, or similar background working for a financial institution
MBA and/or Engineering degree with relevant Financial Crime and Compliance industry experience
Demonstrated successful track record of analyzing functional requirements and processes in a complex business domain
Ability to break down massive complex problems into small, solvable work units and effectively communicate deadlines and goals across teams
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Possesses attention to detail with excellent follow-through
