The corporate networking team provides on premise wired and wireless connectivity, global WAN, Internet, VPN, Wireless, Network Security, tooling and automation services.

Corporate Networks is seeking a Technical Program Manager with large-scale network infrastructure experience. This person will be deeply involved in evolving and enhancing the global network that supports all Oracle products and services.

This person will partner closely with LoB’s, Engineering and other cross-functional teams to understand the problem space and domain in depth, prioritize based on impact and drive them through to completion.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities include:

• Lead strong and aligned agile teams to efficiently deliver on shared goals.

• Define and manage projects and programs, including setting priorities and deliverables, assess risk, success criteria, schedules, etc.

• Manage cross functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly.

• Manage stakeholder expectations.

• Facilitate project leadership team meetings.

• Facilitate cross-silo communications and decision making across team, division, and company.

• Define and track key metrics and key quality and performance indicators and drive cross functional execution of program deliverables.

• Ensure the implementation of operational policies.

• Interactinternally and externally with executive management involving negotiation of difficult matters to influencepolicy.

Requirements

• B.Tech. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

• 10+ years of experience in Program Management on technical cross-functional projects

• Successful track record in networking and program management.

• Experience leading projects in one or many major Public Cloud IaaS/PaaS environments

• Experience in managing and executing large-scale, complex technical projects and delivering high quality products

• Experience delivering tech programs or products from inception to delivery

• Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope

• Experience in agile as scrum master, product owner or equivalent

• Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.

• Detailed knowledge of technical and business concepts of a number of related applicationsareas.

Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
