Job Description

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

Oracle is looking for a Technical Product Manager Security for our 5G network functions portfolio.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Functions as SPOC for Oracle 5G product security to its customers , Driving long-term Security roadmaps for 5G product portfolio.

• Specifying technical requirements on Security domain and working with development teams to translate requirements into features.

• Collaborate with the Product Line Management to define product vision and security roadmap.

• Support customer engagements and lead technical discussions with Mobile Network Operators and Service Providers across the globe to secure country specific regulatory approvals , certifications etc.

Key Knowledge Areas:

• In depth knowledge on IT/Software , Telco grade cloud native system’s Security threats & vulnerabilities , 5G inter/intra NF secure protocols for communication etc

• Expertise in Security Orchestration and Operational Automation area , driven Zero trust architecture.

• Emerging 5G Service Based Architecture as defined by 3GPP

• Knowledge of 5G/4G protocols and call flows

• Knowledge of Cloud Native technologies and Container based deployment models.

Summary of Qualifications:

• Must have at the minimum of 12 + years of working experience on Secure communications , Information security fundamentals , threat detection and alerting.

• Must have the ability to effectively collaborate between technical teams and business stakeholders in a highly dynamic professional environment.

• 2+ years of experience in Cloud Native technologies, Container networking and Container based deployment models is preferable.

• Experience in defining software product requirements for engineering organizations is required.

• BE/B.Tech in IT/Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent. M.Tech preferred.
