Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
Responsibilities
The CXoE Program Manager is responsible for managing and tracking different customer deliveries like escalations, Proactive and reactive customer engagements, drives customer programs by working with Technical Account Managers and Go Live Assurance Managers , directly and indirectly drives cloud revenues through various customer programs.
Helps customer realize the full business value of their OCI based implementations. The PM will work with our customers to review their operational SOPs, identify gaps and fill those gaps by promoting operational excellence best practices in key cloud deployment areas including but not limited to:
OCI skillsets
Release management processes
Change management processes (patching, upgrades, configuration management, dependency management etc.)
Engaging Oracle support
Oracle escalation management
Works closely with TAM’s, GLA Managers to identify gaps in OCI ecosystem that impacts customers’ operational efficiencies and interlock with OCI product engineering and support to remediate them.
The core skills we are looking for in the Program Manager are:
Must have tracked and managed full lifecycle implementation of cloud applications and systems.
Should demonstrate hands-on knowledge in design, development, testing, promoting through environments, go-lives, post-go-live stabilization and live system operations
Demonstrate DevOps full lifecycle management experience
Demonstrate practical knowledge and use of DevOps tools
Demonstrate practical knowledge of service lifecycle management frameworks like ITIL
Demonstrate deep expertise in one or more technical domains like database, analytics, OCI compute, storage, network etc.
Demonstrate advocacy experience working with vendor, product, development and management teams and influence product roadmap, features and bug-fixes
Relevant cloud certifications in core cloud architecture and specializations. For e.g., OCI (Associate and Professional), ADW, OCI Enterprise Operations, equivalent AWS, Azure and GCP certifications
Partners with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. Drives Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services including discovery, design and deployment.
Engages with TAMS and strategic customers, builds leadership relationships at multiple levels within organizations in order to design and implement solutions. Works directly / indirectly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures and translates business needs into solutions. May implement solutions and ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting. Displays product/application understanding through highly customized presentation demonstrations to the needed internal and external stake holders. Supports customer from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training. Works with the TAMs to create and distribute technical assets (white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations)to customers. Serves as a leading contributor to customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success. Identifies gaps and enhancements to influence engineering roadmaps for customer driven features. Leading contributor, may provide direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. May interact with C level. Maintains expertise by staying current on emerging technologies.
Minimum qualifications include: 8+ years experience with computer applications and tools required. Ability to travel 25% international and domestic.
Preferred but not required qualifications include: Bachelor of Science-level university degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering from accredited university; and/or relevant 8+ years technical experience. Advanced degree in relevant field of studies highly desirable. Expertise in and an in depth and thorough knowledge of competitive and industry knowledge in the field of computer applications and tools; System and application design; Implementation of advanced product features; Project management; Solving technical problems with customers in technical environments; Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Needs strong, analysis, positioning, and business justification skills. 8+ years experience and expertise in the clear communication of technical information to others through presentations, demonstrations, written communication and consultative solutioning experience.
