Job Description

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Role Overview: This role is within OCI Shared Services team which focuses on Data protection products, Oracle Database, Exadata, Cloud and Tenancy & Security services.

Responsibilities For Scrum Master

• Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices

• Facilitate daily Scrum and Sprint initiatives

• Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments

• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Agiletechniques

• Ability to understand the technical intricacies of projects and work with the Product owner to resolve them

• Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity

• Manage simultaneous global IT projects from development through release

• Prepares and maintains project plans and tracks activities against the plan

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

• Report and escalate to management as needed

• Act as an agile coach for the team

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope

• Act as a servant leader


Qualifications For Scrum Master

• 7 – 8+ years of total experience with 4+ relevant years of experience in delivering complex projects or acting as an Agile Scrum Master

• Expertise in estimation and planning for creation of useful, reliable, and practical plans for software development projects

• Good understanding of benchmark software engineering practices

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM/PSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)

• Experience in agile/SAFe/Kanban development methodologies

• Experience in Agile tools like JIRA, Target process, etc.

• Knowledge on OCI is a big plus
