Job Description

*Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience., * We are hiring for open positions in Fusion ERP Financial cloud applications development organization for senior/lead cloud native engineers who would be working on building next generation cloud based applications. The role involves building cloud applications with latest technologies used in full-stack development. On top of building new applications we also handle many migration projects which helped us explore and use efficient tech stack to gain from the experiences.
This role involves working on designing and developing next generation industry leading Oracle Fusion ERP cloud applications involving migrating the existing applications into modern front end applications & cloud based microservices.
– Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
– Minimum 4 years of overall experience in analysing, designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging the Software Applications
– Develop client-side applications using the latest JavaScript language features, frameworks, and tooling
– 2+ years of strong hands-on experience building responsive rich UIs using various frontend frameworks and libraries such as JQuery, Knockout, Angular, Dojo, Backbone, React, Due etc.
– 3+ years of strong hands-on experience building back-end, REST Api using java tech-stack
– Strong hands-on java programming skills
– Strong hands-on on performance aspects such as profiling, time to first byte, browser memory usage, decreasing the overall load time of applications and hitting first meaningful paint
– Consistently write useful tests for all code developed and ensure quality is maintained as development moves forward
– Implementation and mentoring other team members on best practices and bringing them up to speed
– Architecting and building out data-centric fronted applications (strong understanding of data/rest layer)
– Strong Object oriented Programming skills Strong analytical skills with good understanding of data structures and algorithms
Other supporting skills:
– Linux, Build tools (grunt, gulp, npm etc.) , tools for CI/CD (Jenkins), Git, shell scripting
– Experience on mobile development (native/hybrid) will be an added advantage
– Well versed with application life-cycle management for cloud based applications
– Hands-on in designing and developing various architectural implementations and design patterns
– Good exposure to open source community in terms of looking at the latest trends (browser compatibility, Typescript, ES+ features etc.)
– Good exposure to DevOps/CICD model
– Experience in Agile methodologies and Release management techniques
– Consistently write useful tests for all code developed and ensure quality is maintained as development moves forward
– Good communication and interpersonal skills
– Mentoring new team members on best practices and bringing them up to speed
– Ability to work with cross functional teams across geographies I.e. Product Management, QA, and Strategy teams based out of various locations
