Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, debug, and maintain UI, based on Oracle JET

• Maintain high standards of code quality and unit test coverage.

• Write code in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS that meets the functional specifications

• Collaborate with UX Designer and other team members

• Develop unit tests using JavaScript testing frameworks

• Estimate tasks and meet milestones and deadlines appropriately

• Assist with build and deployment automation scripts

• Design REST APIs

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in the web application

Desired Qualifications:

• At least 6+ years of UI Development experience

• Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJs, ReactJs and jQuery

• Experience with Oracle JET is preferable

• Front-end web development experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3

• Understanding of AJAX, object-oriented JavaScript, the DOM and JSON

• Experience developing rich UI’s for data visualization

• Exposure to Cloud concepts (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) with Oracle Cloud, AWS, or Azure, any certification(s) a plus

• Experience with build tools such as Grunt or Gulp

• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices, working with XML and JSON
