Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

Introduction

The Oracle CX Industry solutions team is responsible for building engaging omni channel digital experience solutions across industries on a scalable performant highly available cloud platform by leveraging the Oracle product portfolio.

• You will work with highly skilled, highly motivated engineers using agile methodologies

• You will work alongside other software development teams , bright minds that are building technology platforms, specific industry experiences.

Roles and responsibilities

• Work with product owner, architects and leads to understand the scope

• Evaluate technologies, frameworks, patterns to design solutions

• Develop high-performing, scalable, and fault tolerant microservices

• Use Everything-As-Code methodologies to ensure traceability, configurability, immutability, repeatability, and governability

• Be able to understand the solution design and implement

• Constantly update yourself on relevant technology updates in the industry

• Develop code that is of high standard with best practices

Skills Required

• Development experience with Java, Microservices platform (Spring boot/ Helidon) , Python

• Development experience in building REST APIs

• Good understanding of front end technologies and platforms

• Experience in building distributed applications

• Experience in building SaaS applications /cloud native applications

• Understanding of identity management , Security

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitLab

• Experience with Docker and containerization methods

• Experience with SCM tools and best practices

• Agile methodology knowledge/ work experience

• Ability to learn and grasp concepts quickly in a fast-paced environment is critical to success

• Understanding of K-native/Istio technologies is a plus.
